Two people from Toronto are each facing several charges following a raid over the weekend in East York.
Toronto police said on Saturday officers executed a Criminal Code search warrant at a premises near Cosburn and Woodbine avenues, and allegedly seized a loaded Glock 17, 9mm firearm and a quantity of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
This comes as a result of a possession of firearms investigation conducted by the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force.
Kyanoush Rezaei, 34, and Pegah Seddighi, 33, both of Toronto, have each been charged with several gun =- and drug-possession offences. They were both scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 1.
