An update has emerged on the issues faced by Chelsea defender Axel Disasi ahead of his potential move to West Ham.
The Hammers have been linked with several centre-backs throughout the January transfer window, but have failed to get a single one over the line.
We all love the club to bits, but let’s be real – what would you have to tell a new signing to convince them to join?! 😔

West Ham then entered the race for Disasi, and the transfer deadline passed without him officially signing for the London Stadium outfit.
It’s understood that a deal sheet has been submitted by West Ham, which gives them time until 9pm to get the deal done.
Axel Disasi appears to have agreed personal terms with West Ham
According to Claret and Hugh journalist Sean Whetstone, all issues have been resolved with regard to Disasi’s move to West Ham.
The 27-year-old arrived late for his medical on Monday and, even after completing it, had reservations over the loan move.
If you had to rate this signing between 1 and 5, what would you go for? 🤔

However, any issues he seemed to have over moving to the Hammers now seem to have been sorted.
The East London outfit did their bit by submitting a deal sheet before 7 pm, which was the transfer deadline.
Now, they have been handed an extra two hours to finalise Disasi’s loan move.
Whetstone wrote on X: “All issues with Axel Disasi loan resolved.
“Deal sheet submitted before 7 pm.
“Final paperwork needs to be submitted by West Ham by 9 pm for the transfer to be valid.”

Disasi has been training with Chelsea’s reserves all season, so he is tremendously lacking match sharpness.
The fact that he has passed his medical does not necessarily mean that he is ready to be thrown into the playing eleven right away.
There is a possibility that he has a couple of days where he trains individually before he joins full team training and his intensity is ramped up.
West Ham play Burnley on Saturday, so Disasi will still have four more days of full training ahead of the game.
There is a possibility that he makes the matchday squad for that one, but it is more likely that he makes his debut next week against Manchester United at the London Stadium.
