A teenager has admitted murdering his mother, whose body was found on a footpath.

Angela Shellis, 45, from Prestatyn, Denbighshire, was found dead near the town’s Morfa nature reserve on 24 October.

Her 18-year-old son, Tristan Roberts, appeared at Mold Crown Court on Thursday, and admitted her murder.

No details of the case were given and Judge Rhys Rowlands adjourned for sentencing on 25 March.
