The Commission is creating a post of European Coordinator for Central and South-East European interconnectivity and, with the support of the Member States concerned has opened a call for expression of interest for candidates interested in the position. In line with Article 6 paragraph 2 of the Trans-European Network for Energy (TEN-E) Regulation, the role involves monitoring the implementation of the progress on the infrastructure investments and policy actions related to the completion of the projects of common interest (PCIs) under the TEN-E Regulation in Central and South-East Europe, providing advice and facilitating any measures that need to be taken by the stakeholders or authorities, and regularly reporting back to the Commission and the concerned Member States on the relevant progress.
Candidates should be EU nationals with fluent English and have at least 10 years of relevant experience.
