A pedestrian has been rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in North York on Thursday night.
Toronto police say a call came in shortly after 9:35 p.m. for a collision at the intersection of Lawrence Avenue West and Brookview Drive, west of Bathurst Street.
The pedestrian, an adult male, sustained serious, potentially life-threatening injuries, Toronto paramedics say.
The driver of the vehicle, police say, remained at the scene.
