Heavy rain is set to blanket the South West tomorrow with warnings to expect floods and travel disruption.
The Met Office has issued a Yellow warning for almost the entire region for February 9.
It covers all of Cornwall, most of Devon, including Plymouth, Torbay and Exeter, and a large part of Somerset, including Taunton.
The Exeter-based Met Office is warning that heavy rain during Monday afternoon and evening may cause flooding and disruption to travel.
The Yellow warning extends from noon tomorrow until midnight.
The Met Office said there is the possibility that “a few” homes and businesses could be flooded and there is a chance of some interruption to power supplies and other services.
It said for motorists to prepare for spray and flooding on roads, which will probably make journey times longer.
Bus and train services will probably be affected too, with journey times taking longer.
A Met Office spokesperson said: “Bands of rain and heavy showers will move east across southern parts of England and Wales during Monday afternoon and evening with 10-15mm of rain likely fairly widely, with 20-30 mm in some places exposed to the strong south to southeasterly winds.”
The Met Office advised homeowners to check if their properties could be at risk of flooding and to consider preparing a flood plan and an “emergency flood kit”.
More than 80 warnings of expected flooding have been issued in recent days as relentless rain continues to soak the country.
Tomorrow’s Yellow warning extends all the way to South Wales and as far as Portsmouth.
The Met Office spokesperson said: “Give yourself the best chance of avoiding delays by checking road conditions if driving, or bus and train timetables, and amending your travel plans if necessary.
“People cope better with power cuts when they have prepared for them in advance. It’s easy to do; consider gathering torches and batteries, a mobile phone power pack and other essential items.
“Be prepared for weather warnings to change quickly: when a weather warning is issued, the Met Office recommends staying up to date with the weather forecast in your area.
