The draw for the fourth round of the Challenge Cup has been made, with Hull FC and Hull KR both drawn away from home against fellow Super League opposition.

The Black and Whites defeated Salford RLFC 60-0 last Friday night to book their place in the last 16 and will now take on Leigh Leopards over the Pennines, with John Asiata, Zak Hardaker and co set to return to their former club.

Meanwhile, holders Hull KR will take on Huddersfield Giants in West Yorkshire – just one week on from their Super League game at the same venue. The Robins produced a club record victory to defeat Castleford-based community club Lock Lane 104-0 last Friday night.

The ties will be played on the weekend of March 14/15. Full fixture details will be confirmed in due course.

Both sides will play four Super League fixtures before their cup ties. Hull start their Super League season at home to Bradford Bulls on Saturday. They then face Wigan Warriors, York Knights, and Wakefield Trinity in rounds two, three, and four.

Rovers start with a trip to York on Thursday before next week’s blockbuster World Club Challenge game against NRL Premiers Brisbane Broncos. They then head to Las Vegas to take on Leeds Rhinos, before playing Huddersfield in round four.

Elsewhere, East Yorkshire outfit Goole Vikings have been drawn against Super League outfit Warrington Wolves in what is a huge tie for Scott Taylor’s side. The other two Championship sides – Oldham and Keighley Cougars – were drawn against Catalans Dragons and York Knights.
