A female cyclist was hospitalised following a ‘road traffic incident’ on the outskirts of Ballybofey yesterday.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the incident involving a bicycle on the Glenfin Road at approximately 3:53pm.
“A female aged in her 50s was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to be treated for injuries believed to be not life threatening at this time. Enquiries ongoing,” a garda spokesperson said.
It is understood she suffered a number of broken bones.
