TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – The Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI are intensifying their efforts in a joint investigation, maintaining a strong partnership to solve the case. Investigators are committed to this collaborative approach, with all forensic evidence being sent to a consistent out-of-state lab.
Several gloves were discovered approximately two miles from the home, countering rumors of a glove found inside the residence. DNA not belonging to Nancy Guthrie or her close contacts has been collected, and efforts are underway to identify the source, though the location of the DNA remains undisclosed.
The search for Nancy Guthrie is in its thirteenth day. The disappearance of Nancy has hit the heart of Tucson, deeply impacting the community. On Friday, PCSD announced that DNA was recovered although the location of the DNA remains undisclosed. As the search continues for the 84-year-old, the FBI is seeking information that can lead to Nancy’s location or the arrest and conviction of those involved in her abduction.
The FBI’s recently released suspect description continues to be a primary focus. However, no potential suspects or vehicles have been ruled out. The public is urged to submit actionable tips, and all videos shared are under review.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department will send a request via the Neighbors App for surveillance footage from January 1, 2026, through February 2, 2026, in the Guthrie neighborhood. This footage should include any suspicious activity involving individuals or vehicles.
At the Guthrie family’s request, routine pool maintenance was conducted at the residence. While media interest remains high, no press briefings are scheduled, and the sheriff has limited interviews through the weekend. Media outlets are encouraged to collaborate with local affiliates.
Nancy was last seen on around 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, and was reported missing the following day after she did not show up for church.

The FBI is now offering a $100,000 reward for information that can lead to an arrest regarding the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie.

Nancy Guthrie is described as 5 foot 5 inches tall, 150 pounds, has brown hair, and has blue eyes. We are told that Nancy Guthrie is in frail health and is without the daily medications she needs to survive. Nanos confirmed the 84-year-old lived alone.
