Team USA brings a 1-0 record into the game after a 5-1 victory over Latvia on Wednesday (Feb. 11). Brock Nelson had a pair of goals and Jack Hughes, Quinn Hughes, Jack Eichel and Matthew Tkachuk each added two assists in propelling the U.S. offense.

Denmark is 0-1 after dropping a 3-1 contest to Germany in its tournament opener Wednesday, despite outshooting the Germans, 38-26.

After returning to the Olympic Village at 1:15 a.m. following its game against Latvia, head coach Mike Sullivan opted not to practice yesterday and instead had a team meeting in the Village. The U.S. utilized its 12 noon pre-game ice slot today to make final preparations for tonight’s contest.

The U.S. will also play tomorrow night at 9:10 p.m. local/3:10 p.m. ET against Germany to mark its third game in four days.
