It wasn’t the result folks in Brighton, the Quinte region and all of Canada wanted, but Brighton’s Hallie Clarke did very well at the Olympics Saturday in Heats 3 and 4 of the Women’s Skeleton competition.
After completing  Heats 1 and 2 in tears Friday after finishing in 20th position Clarke zipped up to 11th place on Saturday.
The 21 year-old was the top Canadian in the competition.
An Austrian won the gold medal while German sliders took the silver and bronze medals.
