The right-back slammed home the winner in a 3-2 second-half comeback for Celtic with the clock on 96 minutes.
Kilmarnock had gone into the break two goals to the good after strikes from Tyrece John-Jules and Joe Hugill at Rugby Park.

But Celtic would battle back into the contest and, eventually, claim victory deep into stoppage time.
Sebastian Tounekti halved the deficit as he curled into the top corner from long range shortly after the break.
Benjamin Nygren then levelled the scores as he applied a simple finish from close range after a long-throw into the box wasn’t dealt with by the Kilmarnock defence.

Then, in the final minute of additional time, Tomas Cvancara sent a low cross into the box where it was roll to Araujo. The defender then fired past Kelle Roos with his left foot to spark chaotic celebrations.
Araujo sprinted to the Celtic support and jumped into the stands as fans poured onto the pitch after the late drama.
However, despite his heroics, O’Neill was quick to remind Araujo of his less impressive first-half performance.
Hijacking the Celtic TV interview with the defender, O’Neill said: “Ask him about his first-half performance.”
Araujo laughed off the remark before adding: “We’ll talk about that later!”
Discussing Araujo’s performance – days after hailing the defender – after the match, O’Neill said: “There were periods in the first half where I would have retracted what I said, you know, but he did great.
“For him to arrive there in the box at that time, I’m still having to, I haven’t seen it back first time, but some of the lads are telling me he still had to put it into the net, so well done him, he made up for some of his first half recklessness.”
