Hereford FC can confirm that our upcoming home fixtures vs Scarborough (21st Feb) and Chester (24th Feb) will now be played at alternative venues due to the ongoing unavailability of the MandM Edgar Street Stadium due to ongoing pitch issues.

Scarborough Athletic – Saturday 21st February – 3pm KO

Our match against Scarborough Athletic on Saturday will be played at Redditch United.

With Sixways Stadium unavailable on Saturday, we are grateful to Redditch for stepping in to support us at short notice.

Chester – Tuesday 24th February – 7:45pm KO

We can also confirm that our fixture against Chester on Tuesday 24th will be played at Sixways Stadium.

Ticket Information

Tickets for both the Scarborough and Chester games will go on sale on Wednesday at 10am. Tickets for tomorrow’s game vs Darlington can be purchased here.

Further ticketing details and matchday information will be shared via our official channels in due course. As with the Darlington game, season ticket holders unable to attend either of the homes games being played away from the MandM Edgar Street Stadium, will be entitled to a refund on a pro-rata basis. More details will be announced later this week.

Hereford FC General Manager, Jamie Griffiths said: “I share the frustrations of supporters that we are unable to play our home games at the MandM Edgar Street Stadium at this present moment in time, however we are in a position where we need to have some certainty that our home games will take place as scheduled and playing these forthcoming fixtures away from Edgar Street gives us the best chance of those matches taking place.

“We hope that the recent works to the worst affected area of the pitch, and continued improvement works to the other areas of the pitch, will allow us to return to playing matches at the MandM Edgar Street Stadium as soon as possible.

“I’d like to thank everyone for their continued support and understanding during this frustrating period.”
