A 41-year-old man was today arrested (February 17) on suspicion of the murder of Suhail Choudry.
The arrested man remains in custody.
He had been reportedly chased and assaulted by a group armed with weapons such as bats and sticks, in the vicinity of East Avenue, in what is believed to have been a targeted attack.
Four men previously arrested released on bail
The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team has confirmed that the four men arrested in connection with the assault in Flasby Street have now been released on police bail .
Detectives are urging the public to come forward with any information on the assault that led to the death of Mr Choudry on February 8, or the incidents that occurred beforehand that are believed to be linked.

“Detectives investigating the death of Suhail Choudry have made a further arrest,” said a spokesperson for the force.
“The 41-year-old man was arrested in Bradford earlier today (Tuesday) on suspicion of murder and remains in custody at this time. Â
“Four men who were arrested in connection with the incident in Flasby Street, Keighley, have now been released on police bail as enquiries continue by the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team.
