Team Canada is off to the semi-final of the men’s Olympic hockey tournament, but when should hockey fans tune in?
With the Milano Cortina Olympics being in a different time zone, it can make tuning into big events a bit difficult to parse out. Luckily, we know exactly when that game will be shown on TVs across Canada.
After just barely squeaking by Czechia in a razor-thin OT victory in the quarter-finals on Tuesday, Canada will turn their attention to the defending Olympic champion Finland in the semis.
That Canada-Finland matchup is set to go on Friday morning at 10:40 a.m. EST/7:40 a.m. PST.

The other semi-final will feature the heavyweight United States facing off against an upstart Slovakia. Fans will be able to catch those two battle it out for a spot in the gold medal game after the Canada game at 2:40 p.m. EST/11:40 a.m. PST.

The semi-final losers will move on to the bronze medal game, which will take place on Saturday at 2:40 p.m. EST/11:40 a.m. PST. The winners will compete in the Olympic gold medal game, set for Sunday morning at 8:10 a.m. EST/5:10 a.m. PST.
