If a martial arts fight breaks out anywhere near Jimmy Butler, the Golden State Warriors star will be ready.

After all, the six-time All-Star spent part of his offseason teaming up with legendary actor Jackie Chan for a martial arts lesson in China:

The Warriors also posted video of the interactions on their Instagram page.

Butler has always been a physical player who thrives on both sides of the ball, but he might want to think twice about breaking out one of the moves he learns from Chan.

Chances are, NBA officials would be quick to call a foul.

If nothing else, this gave Butler an opportunity to relax and have some fun before what figures to be a championship-or-bust season for a veteran-laden Warriors squad.

With Stephen Curry, Butler and Draymond Green leading the way, Golden State is not building for the future. Rather, it is eyeing what would be a fifth championship for the Curry and Green pair.

Having Butler for an entire season will help, as the Warriors traded for him ahead of the 2025 deadline and spent some time working him into the lineup.

He will be ready for a full season this time around and might even have a couple extra moves given his offseason training.
