Gardaí in North Kerry continue to appeal for witnesses following a serious crash on Saturday evening (2nd August).
The single-vehicle collision happened on the L1029 at Deerpark, Lixnaw, at approximately twenty to six (17.40).
The driver, a man in his late teens, was airlifted to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries.
The teenager was the sole occupant of the car which crashed on the road linking Lixnaw to Ballinclogher Cross.
The road was closed overnight and Garda Forensic Collision Investigators examined the scene.
Gardaí are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Investigating officers have asked any road users who may have dash-cam footage and were travelling in the area between 5.15 and 5.45pm yesterday make it available.
