The Japanese forward stepped off the bench to secure three points for Rovers and could be rewarded with a start against Bristol City.
Michael O’Neill has no fresh injury concerns and is enjoying better luck on that front than his predecessor. Todd Cantwell, Sidnei Tavares, Aynsley Pears, Matty Litherland, George Pratt and Ryan Hedges remain out with injury, though the latter two aren’t registered anyway. Augustus Kargbo and Scott Wharton will play for the Under-21s this week.
That means there’s little reason for wholesale changes. Rovers will be looking for three successive home clean sheets, with the backline in front of Balazs Toth unlikely to be changed.
The same can be said for the midfield, who have established themselves as the favoured trio. Up front, Ohashi for Andri Gudjohnsen may be the only alteration.
Predicted Rovers XI: Toth; Carter, McLoughlin, Cashin; Alebiosu, Baradji, Tronstad, Morishita, Pickering; Ohashi, Jorgensen
