ISRAEL (KMOT) – A pair of church groups from North Dakota currently touring Israel are safe but are monitoring the ongoing situation with Iran.
The pastor for Calvary Chapel in Minot told Your News Leader a group of roughly 50 out of Dickinson, and around 30 from Fargo, are in Israel.
Most of the travelers in the Dickinson group are from California and Arizona, as the churches team up for Israel tours.
Around 90% of the Fargo group is from North Dakota, and the rest are from Minnesota.
The pastor said the group members are in good spirits, and are sheltering in bomb shelters when sirens warn them of incoming missiles.
They are waiting on arrangements to return to the U.S., according to the pastor.
