Gardaí in Inishowen are investigating an incident where a wrench was thrown at a motorhome during the night.
The criminal damage occurred at the Shore Road in Ballyliffin at approx. 4.40am on Sunday the 3rd of August.
The motorhome was parked in a car park when a car passed by and a wrench was thrown from the passenger window of the car, damaging the motorhome window.
In a witness appeal, Garda Gráinne Doherty has described the incident as “quite an unusual one” and “frightening for the occupants.”
“We appeal to anyone who may have dash-cam footage from the Ballyliffin area around that time to make it available to Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540. Any relevant information may be forwarded to Buncrana Garda Station or via the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.”
