A man is wanted after three separate commercial break-and-enters were reported to police on the same day in downtown Toronto.

Toronto police say officers received three separate calls on Feb. 26, for incidents in the Bay Street and Wellesley Street West area.

It is alleged the same suspect shattered the front entrances using a glass-breaker tool and forced entry into the businesses.

Police allege the suspect stole the cash register from two of the locations before fleeing prior to officers arriving.

The suspect is described as having a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a black winter jacket covered in white paint stains with a white and red logo patch on the right arm, a black hooded sweater, a black patterned bandana, black pants and black shoes with white laces.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
