A man has been charged with kidnap and sexual touching following an incident involving an 18-year-old woman.
South Wales Police said a 33-year-old man from Cardiff was arrested hours after the incident which took place at about 18:30 GMT on Saturday near the junction of Clos Nant Mwlan and Heol Pontprennau, in Pontprennau, Cardiff.
The man remained in custody and was due to appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Police had earlier thanked a woman in a black car who “stopped… to intervene”, urging her to contact police.
