76 countries slapped with ‘do not travel’ warning by Foreign Office – full list

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is constantly updating the list of countries UK tourists should NOT travel to amid the war in the Middle East. The FCDO has issued various travel warnings, including advice against “all travel” and “all but essential travel” to entire countries or parts of countries.

Of 226 countries or territories with foreign travel advice pages, 76 are currently flagged as having no-go zones. The warnings impact holiday hotspots like Thailand, in the Far East, and United Arab Emirates, where Brits frequently enjoy holidays to Dubai.

Amid the Iran and US war, Labour Party leader and Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, has tried to reassure Brits. On Monday, March 2, Starmer is planning to update Parliament on the Middle East crisis at 3.30pm.

The Prime Minister said: “I know the situation in the Middle East is worrying for British people in the region, and at home.

“It’s my duty as Prime Minister to keep British people safe. I will be answering questions on the steps we took over the weekend in Parliament.”
