For the second time in the space of a week Celtic will travel to Ibrox to face Rangers, this time in the Scottish Cup.

A late winner in extra-time from Sebastian Tounekti against Dundee set up the tie while Rangers cruised through with an 8-0 victory against Queen’s Park.

Danny Rohl has asked Rangers fans to silence the 7,500 Hoops supporters who will pack out the Broomloan stand for the first time since Odsonne Edouard’s infamous winner in 2018 and will be there to hopefully roar on the Bhoys to a Scottish Cup semi-final and a place at Hampden Park.

I think the score at Ibrox this weekend will be —-

Why did you pick that scoreline?

The game will be held at Ibrox Stadium on Sunday 8 March.

Unlike league fixtures, the quarter-final clash will take place at the slightly later time of 1pm GMT.

Is Rangers vs Celtic on TV?

Yes, the Glasgow derby will be on TV this weekend.

Premier Sports 1 will broadcast the game live, with their coverage beginning from 12pm GMT.

Premier Sports is available on Sky, Virgin, STV Player and Amazon Prime as an add-on subscription, while those wishing to stream can do so for a fee starting at £10.99.

Celtic fans living inside the UK and Ireland cannot watch the clash live via their Celtic TV subscriptions, but audio commentary is available.

When is the Scottish Cup semi-final draw?

If Celtic beat Rangers and advance to the semi-final, they will have to wait until later in the day to find out who their opponents will be in the last four.

The draw will take place after the late kick off on Sunday 8 March between St Mirren and Partick Thistle. Kick-off in that game is 7:30pm, and the draw will follow straight after.

Celtic team news

Kieran Tierney and Kasper Schmeichel have both trained in the build-up to the game this week.

Tierney was substituted after Toyosi Olusanya’s late challenge while Schmeichel has missed the last two games through injury.

Auston Trusty is eligible to play despite serving a three-match ban for his red card against Hibernian but Benjamin Arthur could be the safer option to start after an impressive first start.

My favourite Scottish Cup memory is…

Don Robertson has been appointed as the referee for this weekend’s clash.

Ross Macleod and David Roome have been named as his assistants while in the VAR department is Andrew Dallas and his assistant Matthew MacDermid.
