Police shut A38 in both directions

POLICE have closed the A38 in Lichfield after a crash.

The road is shut in both directions after the incident at 5am this morning (7th March).

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:

“We are responding to a serious collision on the A38 and have had to close the road in both directions between the A5148 and A5 junctions.

“Please avoid the area where possible to reduce traffic disruption.”
