“Overall, today is positive. There was a reaction after last Saturday at Oxford. I’m pleased with that.
“Max O’Leary gave us a big performance today and I asked that of him before the game. I didn’t think he made many saves, but we opened it up when we were 1-0 down and we were trying to get back into the game. They had one or two chances when we did that, but Max made some good saves.
“To come to a place like this, where they’ve beaten some really good opponents, and get a point – I’m happy.
“I’ve said to the lads that they’ve got to believe in the goal that we’re setting. We all need to believe and today tells me that we can.
“However, it’s only one game and we’ve got to keep doing it. We can’t get carried away because there are big challenges ahead. Let’s go from there.
“The support from the away end was massive, but I’m not surprised. They turn up every week and I told the lads that. I’ve got enough experience with the fans to know they’ll continue to support and understand.”
