It is with heavy hearts that the family of Paul Wade Beaton announces his passing on March 6, 2026, at the age of 56. Paul was born on July 26, 1969, in Sudbury, ON, his family set their roots in Westville, NS.

Paul graduated from Westville High School. He was known for his quick wit, warm personality, and love of family. For 12 years, Paul worked as Sales Manager at Berry’s Furniture in Truro, where he formed many friendships and was revered for his dedication and sense of humor.

Always down to have a good time, Paul was the life of every party. Underneath his playful, sarcastic side was a heart of gold that enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved a good game of crib or poker, was always the family jokester, and enjoyed spending time every summer in the Mabou Coal Mines. Above all, he cherished large family gatherings filled with laughter, stories, and time spent with those he loved. 

Paul will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Cynthia Beaton; his children, Keegan Matheson and Jenna MacFadden; and his beloved granddaughter, Emma Dillman. He is also survived by his brothers, Alex Beaton and Adam Beaton, and his sister, Kim Beaton-Haslam (Tim Mansour). Paul will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Courtney (Danielle) MacQueen, Neil Roddick, Neelah Mansour, 

Madison Haslam, Cameron Mansour, and Anthony Mansour.

He was predeceased by his sister, Lesley Roddick; his parents, Brenda and Joey Beaton; his grandparents; his Aunt Mary; Uncle Tony and his brother-in-law, Darryl MacFadden.

Paul’s laughter, humour, and love for family will be remembered always by those who knew and loved him.”Keep in mind, there’s a clock ticking that you can’t see. So love whoever loves you and enjoy your life.”

Visitation will be held at Eagles Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 10, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
