A Kerry teenager who was seriously injured in a serious crash over the Bank Holiday weekend has passed away.
The fatal road traffic collision occurred on the L1029 road at Deerpark, Lixnaw on Saturday, August 2. The driver, an adult male aged in his late teens, and sole occupant of the car was airlifted to Cork University Hospital.
Tragically, the teenager was pronounced dead this morning, Wednesday, August 6.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a single-vehicle collision at approximately 5.40pm.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have carried out an examination of the scene
Gardaí have again appealed for witnesses to this incident to come forward as investigations continue into the tragedy.
