IDF’s campaign against Iran will continue at least 3 more weeks with thousands of targets remaining – report
The IDF is planning at least three more weeks of its military campaign against Iran, with “thousands of targets” still remaining, military spokesperson Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin told CNN on Sunday.
“We have thousands of targets ahead,” Defrin said, adding that Israel is prepared with plans extending through the Jewish holiday of Passover, about three weeks away, and potentially several weeks beyond that in coordination with US allies.
According to the IDF, since the start of the campaign on February 28, the Israeli Air Force has carried out around 400 waves of strikes in western and central Iran, targeting infrastructure and operatives linked to missile, defense, and production units. Defrin said the military is “not working according to a stopwatch or a timetable but rather to achieve our goals.”
