Snowmobile driver was sent to hospital following Saturday morning crash, where he was pronounced dead, say OPP
A teenage snowmobiler was killed in a crash with a commercial motor vehicle.Â
The two-vehicle collision happened around 9 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of the OFSC Trail A and 2nd Street in Cochrane.Â
The driver of the snowmobile — a 19-year-old man from Vaughan — was brought to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing and includes the OPP’s technical incident management and enforcement (TIME) team, scenes of crime officers, and the Ontario coroner’s office.
