A fight that began on a TTC bus ended in a stabbing that left one person critically injured on Sunday night, Toronto police said.
Officers responded to reports of a fight in the area of Wilson Avenue and Keele Street shortly after 8 p.m.
Police said the fight continued after those involved got off the bus.
When officers arrived, they found a male victim with stab wounds. Toronto paramedics said they transported the victim to the hospital in serious, life-threatening condition.
One suspect was arrested on the scene while another fled, police said.
The suspect is described as a Black man, six feet tall with a thin build and was last seen wearing glasses, a toque, a black vest with a grey hooded sweater underneath and jogging pants.
