A report published Saturday on the American news site Semafor prompted a wave of denials from Israel’s political leadership and the military. The report claimed Israel had recently informed the United States that its stockpile of interceptor missiles used against ballistic missiles was running low. Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, along with senior Israel Defense Forces officers speaking anonymously and other unnamed sources, flatly denied the claim.
