Aviation continues to be impacted by the conflict in the Middle East with several flights between the region and Manchester Airport cancelled today, March 18.

According to FlightAware, a total of 2,259 flights were cancelled around the world yesterday. So far today 823 flights have been cancelled.

Cancellations to some flights come as global travel continues to be impacted be the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, with major airlines running limited services to and from the region. UK Foreign Office guidance remains unchanged with Brits advised against all but essential travel to the United Arab Emirates.

Qatar Airways have cancelled a flight destined for Manchester today. The airline continues to operate limited services to help passengers directly impacted by the disruption.

Gulf Air has suspended flights to and from Bahrain as its airspace remains. The airline is however continuing to operate some commercial flights via Dammam as closure of the airspace continues.
