In the weeks before his death, Wright had shared videos on Instagram which showed him scuba diving and riding motorbikes in Phuket.
Other reality television personalities shared their tributes to him in the comments section of his latest post.
Liam “Gatsby” Blackwell, once of Towie, wrote “miss you already brother,” while Ex on the Beach’s Brandon Myers said: “Lost for words bro. Amazing memories with you mate.”
A spokesperson for Towie said in a statement: “Everyone at Towie sends their deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Jordan Wright at this very sad time.”
The BBC has contacted police in Thailand for more information about Wright’s death.
