The Israeli army bombed a police vehicle in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip on Sunday, killing at least four people and wounding several others.
The Ministry of Interior in Gaza said in a statement that the strike occurred while police officers were “carrying out their duties in Nuseirat camp”.
Elsewhere in the besieged enclave, a Palestinian was killed in an Israeli strike targeting a gathering north of Gaza City on the third day of Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Several others were wounded, according to local media.
The Palestinian health ministry in Gaza said nine people have been killed in Israeli attacks since the start of the holiday, with a further 30 wounded.
The latest strikes come amid near-daily violations reported since a ceasefire agreement came into effect in October.

Israeli forces have killed more than 687 people during this period and wounded a further 1,845.
Since the start of the genocide in Gaza, Israeli forces have killed more than 72,000 Palestinians and destroyed nearly 80 percent of the enclave’s infrastructure.
Rafah crossing restrictions
Meanwhile, restrictions on aid and medical evacuations from Gaza have intensified in recent days amid the Israeli-US war on Iran.
Local media reported a tightening of the blockade, with only limited movement through the Rafah crossing after it reopened on Thursday, having been closed by Israel on 28 February.
Eid in Gaza: Despite immense loss, we deserve to celebrate
No more than 24 patients, along with their companions, have been evacuated since the crossing reopened on 19 March.
The crossing is a crucial gateway for civilians and aid, but has largely remained closed since Israeli forces seized control of it in May 2024. It briefly reopened in early February before being shut again later that month during the war on Iran.
The closure of key crossings into the territory has had wide-ranging repercussions, including restricting humanitarian relief, preventing Palestinians from returning to Gaza and blocking thousands of urgent medical evacuations.
On Monday, Israeli forces also arrested a Palestinian returning to Gaza via the Rafah crossing, in what was reported as a violation of the terms governing its reopening.
