The Saints travel to the home of the Robins for Round 6 of 2026 Betfred Super League, which marks the competition’s 30th birthday weekend.
Kick-off is scheduled for 8pm at Sewell Group Craven Park on Friday night.
Following a victory over Toulouse Olympique in the last round, the Saints extended their current winning run to five matches in all competitions.
Paul Rowley’s team earned home victories at the BrewDog Stadium against Leigh Leopards and Bradford Bulls, and won away games against Catalans Dragons, Castleford Tigers in the Challenge Cup, and last Friday night’s result over Toulouse.
The big matches keep coming. Up next, the Red V visit the current Super League and World Club champions for their first home match at their ground in the 2026 season.
Willie Peters’ team enjoyed their best-ever season in 2025, certainly in the modern era, winning the treble: the League Leaders’ Shield, Challenge Cup and Super League title. The Robins also won their first-ever World title in February in a thriller against NRL premiers Brisbane Broncos at Hull FC’s home ground, the MKM Stadium.
Hull KR are chasing their second league win of the season after defeats to York, Leeds and Catalans. So a hostile atmosphere awaits the Saints, as the Robins strive to get back to winning ways.
SQUAD NEWS
Paul Rowley makes two changes to the squad that was victorious in France last weekend.
George Whitby, unfortunately, failed a Head Injury Assessment in the match against Toulouse, so he is stood down for this fixture and is following return-to-play protocols. Young Academy talent Chris Matagi is the other Saint to step out of the squad.
Daryl Clark is named in our 21-man selection, having missed out last week due to return-to-play protocols in our Fourth Round win over Castleford a fortnight ago.
Joe Shorrocks is also back available for selection after serving his two-match penalty notice.

St.Helens’ 21-man squad vs Hull KR
