Joe Pyfer achieved his breakthrough moment in the UFC Fight Night 271 when he took down former champion Israel Adesanya.

Pyfer (16-3 MMA, 7-1 UFC) handed Adesanya (24-6 MMA, 13-6 UFC) hi fourth consecutive loss with a second-round TKO victory in the middleweight headliner at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, and now must be considered a contender in the weight class.
