Protesters turn out for local ‘No Kings’ protests

Millions of people across the country, including here in our region, took part in ‘No Kings’ protests Saturday.About 3,200 rallies were planned in all 50 states, according to organizers. In the Upstate, crowds gathered in Clemson, downtown Greenville, Spartanburg and Pendleton. In Western North Carolina, people protested in Asheville, Hendersonville, Waynesville and Brevard.We saw big turnouts in cities like Charlotte and Atlanta.This was the third “No Kings” rally since Donald Trump was elected president.
