A body has been found during the desperate search for missing Birmingham City fan Paul Pike.
The 18-year-old, from Birmingham, vanished eight days ago on March 21 after he’d travelled to watch his team play against Derby County at Pride Park.
He was believed to have entered the ground but then left 13-minutes after kick-off.
The teenager was last seen on CCTV at around 12.43pm outside the stadium, walking along the riverside, near to Millennium Way’s cut-through.

In a new update issued this afternoon, police confirmed a body had been discovered just before 10.30am today, near to where Mr Pike was last seen.
While formal identification had not taken place, officers said they believed the body was that of the missing teenager.

Mr Pike’s family have been informed and his death was not being treated as suspicious, Derbyshire Constabulary said.
A force spokesperson said: “A body, believed to be that of missing Birmingham City fan Paul, has been found.
“Officers searching the River Derwent near Pride Park, close to where Paul was last seen, discovered the body just before 10.30am today.
“While formal identification has not yet taken place, Paul’s family have been made aware, and they have asked that their privacy is respected at this time.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and there is not believed to be any third-party involvement.
“A large number of people, from both the local area and Paul’s home city of Birmingham, have been searching the area in previous days and we would like to pass on our thanks for their support during the search.
“A file is now being prepared for the coroner.”
