Iran has confirmed the death of Revolutionary Guards Navy Commander Alireza Tangsiri following severe injuries, Iranian media reported, based on a statement by the guards.
Israel on Thursday said it had “blown up and eliminated” Tangsiri and several senior officers.
Israel’s Defence Minister Israel Katz on Thursday said Tangsiri was killed in a “precise and lethal operation” by the IDF.

Iran has restored electricity in parts of the capital and nearby areas after strikes damaged power grids and briefly disrupted supply, the deputy energy minister said on Monday.
“Following last night’s enemy attack, the power grid in the provinces of Alborz and Tehran sustained damage and was affected,” said Mostafa Rajabi-Mashhadi in an interview with state television.
“The power network across Iran’s national electricity grid is stable; in Tehran and Alborz the problems have also been resolved,” he added.

Debris from an intercepted Iranian missile attack on Sunday damaged a finished good warehouse along with production equipment and systems, Israeli pesticides maker ADAMA said on Monday.
ADAMA, part of Chinese-owned Syngenta Group, said there were no injuries from the attack that hit its Ne’ot Hovav chemicals plant in southern Israel, which is now closed.
“Efforts are underway to resume normal operations in a gradual and safe manner as soon as possible,” ADAMA said in a statement to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
“The Company is assessing the impact on its operations and financial results, as well as the expected timeline for restoring the affected facilities to full operation.”

Kuwait’s National Guard has said it intercepted five drones within an area under its security responsibility.
Earlier Monday, an Iranian strike on a power station in Kuwait killed one Indian worker and damaged a building, according to the electricity ministry.
“A service building at a power and water desalination plant was attacked as part of the Iranian aggression against the State of Kuwait, resulting in the death of an Indian worker and significant material damage to the building,” said Fatima Abbas Jawhar Hayat, a spokesperson for the ministry.

The UN peacekeeping mission in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said a peacekeeper was killed when a projectile exploded at one of its positions near the southern Lebanese village of Adchit al-Qusayr on Sunday. Another peacekeeper was critically injured, it said in a statement early on Monday.
Indonesia’s foreign ministry said on Monday the deceased peacekeeper was one of its citizens and that three others were injured by indirect artillery fire in the vicinity of the Indonesian UNIFIL contingent’s position near Adchit al-Qusayr.
“We do not know the origin of the projectile. We have launched an investigation to determine all of the circumstances,” UNIFIL said.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said on Sunday that Iran’s heavy water production plant in Khondab was no longer operational after an Israeli military strike.
The Israeli military said Friday it carried out a strike against a heavy water plant in Arak, central Iran, describing the site as a “key plutonium production site for nuclear weapons”.
On Sunday, IAEA said based on an independent analysis of satellite imagery the heavy water production plant at Khondab, which Iran reported had been attacked on 27 March, had “sustained severe damaged (sic) and is no longer operational”.
It added the “installation contains no declared nuclear material”.
