The federal opposition has called on Israel to clarify its “end game” for Gaza as Anthony Albanese used a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron to build momentum for his government recognising the State of Palestine.
Following reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was planning a permanent occupation of the Gaza Strip, opposition home affairs spokesman Andrew Hastie, a solid supporter of the Jewish state, acknowledged the angst Israel was creating with its actions.
