A 13-year-old boy who was charged in connection with a stabbing in Mount Pearl earlier this week has now been charged with attempted murder.
The RNC were called to the home just after 2:00 Monday morning where a male was located with non-life threatening stab wounds.
The accused was found nearby and was initially charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm. Now, officers have laid additional charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault.
The boy appeared in court today.
