Full closure put in place after serious collision on A1 between Winthorpe and North Muskham

A serious collision on the A1 has resulted in the closure of the road in both directions.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision, between Winthorpe and North Muskham, around 9pm Friday (April 3).

The road was subsequently closed both northbound and southbound, for response and crash investigation work — with police stating the major route is “likely to stay shut for some time”.
