We’re into the final minutes. Jake Arthur forces a dropout with a grubber that is cleaned up easily by Dylan Edwards, but then Penrith regain possession immediately as Cleary’s short dropout is swooped on by Casey McLean.
Another Cleary kick almost comes up with a try for Penrith, but Brian To’o loses it forward while being tackled by Greg Marzhew. Penrith get a penalty and have a minute to a score a try to get past 50 points. But they blow it, with Cleary throwing a no-look pass that he really should have had a look for, with the ball sailing over the sideline.
They won’t mind too much though, into the top four after a ninth straight win.
