Andy Moran’s prospects of becoming the next Mayo manager have hardened as the county board move closer to a call on Kevin McStay’s replacement.
Moran has been among the front-runners for the position since the board’s unceremonious removal of McStay as manager, just 10 days after their championship exit to Donegal in June.
