UPDATED: Donald Trump laid into four media figures and podcasters who had been strident supporters, yet have blasted the president for his decision to go to war with Iran and for his ceasefire agreement to try to end it.

In a 485-word Truth Social post, Trump on Thursday railed against Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens and Alex Jones, accusing them of having “low IQs” and of operating “third rate podcasts.”

Trump wrote, in part, “I know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years, especially by the fact that they think it is wonderful for Iran, the Number One State Sponsor of Terror, to have a Nuclear Weapon — Because they have one thing in common, Low IQs. They’re stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it, too! Look at their past, look at their record. They don’t have what it takes, and they never did! They’ve all been thrown off Television, lost their Shows, and aren’t even invited on TV because nobody cares about them, they’re NUT JOBS, TROUBLEMAKERS, and will say anything necessary for some ‘free’ and cheap publicity. Now they think they get some ‘clicks’ because they have Third Rate Podcasts, but nobody’s talking about them, and their views are the opposite of MAGA — Or I wouldn’t have won the Presidential Election in a LANDSLIDE.”

Since the start of the Iran war, the four podcasters have been among the most vocal critics on the right.

On Wednesday, Kelly appeared on Piers Morgan’s show and blasted the ceasefire deal with Iran, saying that it sounds “very much like surrender on our part, which I’m in favor of. I mean, great. This needed to end, ugly or any other way. It was folly to begin with. It was folly throughout. It remains folly.”

Kelly went on, “We’ve upset our allies. We’ve pleased Israel, although now they’re upset there’s a ceasefire. We’ve upset the American base. The Trump coalition that got him elected is completely fractured and in smithereens. And he doesn’t care, Piers, because he doesn’t care about the Republican Party. He cares about himself.”

In response to Trump’s post, Jones continued to call the Iran war “a total disaster” and a “black eye for America,” and called for the 25th Amendment.

Owens wrote, “It may be time to put Grandpa up in a home.”

Megyn Kelly: “The coalition that got Trump elected is completely fractured and in smithereens.”

“It was folly to begin with. It remains folly.”

“The question is now not, who has Trump lost. The question is who remains.”
