Iran’s Foreign Ministry reported that the country is in touch with Lebanese authorities to ensure cease-fire commitments are respected on all fronts, a spokesperson told State TV from Islamabad, Pakistan.

“We are in continuous contact with Beirut to ensure that the cease-fire commitments in Lebanon are implemented,” the Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.

While U.S. and Iranian officials have arrived in Pakistan for cease-fire discussions, Iranian officials have stated that any agreement must include Lebanon and that the United States must halt Israeli strikes.

11 people were killed earlier on Saturday in IDF strikes in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry.
