A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of an RTC involving at car and a motorbike on the M5 in Norton, Worcester at 1.14pm and sent two ambulances to the scene.

“On arrival crews found a man, the motorcyclist, who they treated for potentially serious injuries before conveying him to Worcester Royal under emergency driving conditions.

“A second patient was assessed for minor injuries before being discharged at the scene.”
