CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Large hail has been reported across multiple eastern Iowa towns Friday as severe weather moves through the region.
Tornado Warnings are now in effect throughout the TV9 viewing area as of 3:53 p.m. A Tornado Watch is in effect for the entire TV9 viewing area until 8:00 p.m.
Hundreds of customers power went out in the following counties, according to PowerOutage.us:

As far as the types of severe weather we could experience, all of the severe storm hazards are on the table. The risk for tornadoes is slightly higher in the northeast portion of the viewing area.
