In a vote at the United Nations last year, 149 countries demanded an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza.
This despite the October 7 massacre that Hamas perpetrated against Israel.
Every country maintains the right to defend itself. But when it came to Israel, much of the world demanded that Israel turn the other cheek.
But Israel stood up to the world, and persisted in defeating evil that threatened all of civilization.
Now, as the Strait of Hormuz is blocked, powerful countries are crumbling. Many face urgent crises, both in the realm of oil and energy, and also in obtaining fertilizer for agriculture.
The world stands helpless. It’s astonishing. The entire world is held hostage by one country, Iran, blocking the strait. And the entire world is now too weak to do anything to open the strait. Remarkable.
In fact, the entire world is now dependent on the US and Israel to save everyone. What a turn of events.
Israel, is now the superpower. Talk about a changed world. And it’s happened so quickly.
Israel is now on top. Perhaps Redemption with Moshiach is right around the corner.
The Jewish people have waited two thousand years for Redemption. Jews have been persecuted by the nations, yet they survived, as they clung to the Torah.
And they faithfully recited the ‘ani mamin’: “I believe with complete faith in the coming of Moshiach.”
Now, as we witness the many wondrous miracles, as the Almighty protects His chosen nation — chosen to be a light to the nations, to teach the world what it means to be moral and just — we become increasingly optimistic that very soon we will be redeemed forever, and the entire world will become peaceful.
May it happen now.
